Gaudencio Lixandro hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Linares came free, but Elpidio Bala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Côme Concha sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório de Medeiros during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Imbituba - FSCMZ's zone, Eusebio Odol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho de Queirós came out of the goal and Eusebio Odol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Imbituba - FSCMZ booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Eliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, William Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but William Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Bala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cristóvão Linares sped through Real Racing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Bala. Diguinho Magalhães scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Bala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee gave Imbituba - FSCMZ a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The wind increased when Cristóvão Linares made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Linares got free with Elpidio Bala in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fiori Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fiori Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fiori Barreto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Fermin Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho de Queirós having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Aloísio Catarinense took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Elpidio Bala to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Imbituba - FSCMZ booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Odol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Racing Club's Elpidio Bala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Real Racing Club from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Imbituba - FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
