Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualterio Veto started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Afonso Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Errolan came free, but Rodriguinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the game Vitório de Medeiros made a throw-in which Diguinho Magalhães played forward. Gualterio Veto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho de Queirós made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Diguinho Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stipe Pletikosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodriguinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Crescencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Domingos Errolan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Imbituba - FSCMZ's Rodriguinho de Queirós. Rodriguinho de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Linares in the 32nd minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Nereo Crescencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spams and the Imbituba - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nereo Crescencio hit a great ball. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Linares in the 36th minute of play. Diguinho Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Errolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho de Queirós having to interfere. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Rodriguinho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Veto in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Spams's Domagoj Vida got a free kick in the 47th minute. Spams's Elias James was substituted for Simon Venceslao. Leonardo Indalecio kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Linares got free with Stipe Pletikosa in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Qwinton in the 61st minute of play. Cristóvão Linares came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stipe Pletikosa could save by the left post. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spams's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Breckenfeld was slow to take the kick. During this time Imbituba - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Spams's Stipe Pletikosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Spams from getting a goal against them. Rodriguinho de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Domingos Errolan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Spams fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Errolan couldn't finish the play. Rodriguinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Errolan in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Olívio Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodriguinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias James in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Fiori Barreto got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 played minutes Imbituba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Barreto. Rodriguinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias James in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Ovidio Qwinton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguinho de Queirós. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Qwinton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
