Eulalio Casado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dé Toscano during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Primatas FC's Dé Toscano got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Paulino Felipo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cancelo Gol skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Lapachito booed when Primatas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Paulino Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cancelo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Primatas FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rubens Alcântara hit a great ball. Lapachito's Eulalio Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Nascimento in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Lapachito's Eulalio Casado got control of the ball when Baltazar Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Baltazar Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Tiso was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rubens Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Primatas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Baltazar Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Casado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Baltazar Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Primatas FC made a substitution. Arlindo Madureira replaced Tiago Fantini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Nascimento in the 65th minute of play forced Lapachito's goalkeeper Eulalio Casado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Baltazar Nascimento sped through Lapachito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eulalio Casado. Eulalio Casado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Baltazar Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Eulalio Casado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Primatas FC. In the 81st match minute, Lapachito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Corderall to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Casado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Baltazar Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Primatas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 87 played minutes, Primatas FC's Chico Paraibano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eulalio Casado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Primatas FC reached it. Baltazar Nascimento scored 7-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eulalio Casado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Baltazar Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Primatas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Lapachito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
