Wellington Phoenix's Zeca Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's goalkeeper Zeca Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Magdaleno. If Guillermo Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Santos made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Eulalio Vincent sent off a good shot on target. Juarês Ceresso's late challenge caught a Galáctico Azul FC™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juarês Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Juarês Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Cutberto, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Galáctico Azul FC™ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edelmiro Derwin hit a great ball. Guillermo Miliano in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zeca Santos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaspar Magdaleno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Zeca Santos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Cutberto during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Maximo Cutberto got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Sabóia came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Vincent was the one to do the kick off. Zeca Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Generoso Michael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zeca Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59thth minute of the game Gaspar Magdaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wellington Phoenix's Zeca Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeca Santos was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Zeca Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Michael in the 62nd minute of the match. Eulalio Vincent took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeca Santos. Zeca Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Casimiro Ellande was substituted for Gaspar Magdaleno. Wellington Phoenix made a substitution. Gustavo Zonta replaced Amadeu Maranhense. Wellington Phoenix's Wesley Phoenix was substituted for Mazinho Baptista. Zeca Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Bernabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Generoso Michael notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Wellington Phoenix's Zeca Santos. Zeca Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 85th minute of play forced Wellington Phoenix's goalkeeper Zeca Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Phoenix's Zeca Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Michael in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Vincent came free, but Zeca Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galáctico Azul FC™ had played much better football throughout.
