The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvald Blanck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes Rex Scania MFF got a freekick which was hit by Alf Jonsson. Osvald Blanck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Gustavo Leão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Edmundo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvald Blanck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Alf Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Birger Rydelius made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Lara. When Alf Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rex Scania MFF's protests and gave Alf Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rex Scania MFF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alf Jonsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Geovânio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irreal Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovânio Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvald Blanck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute William Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Blanck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rex Scania MFF's Osvald Blanck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 67th minute of play. Osvald Blanck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Vilhelm Strömbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Osvald Blanck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuno Lara scored 7-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvald Blanck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thor Alin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Irreal Madrid fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rex Scania MFF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
