Real Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Firme kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luiz Gustavo Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Bala was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Edmundo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Côme Concha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irreal Madrid's Edmundo Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Côme Concha in the 24th minute of play. Côme Concha took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Mineiro. Edmundo Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Real Racing Club's Côme Concha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Eusebio Odol came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Real Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Odol couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Mineiro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Racing Club's Côme Concha. But to his dismay, Côme Concha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Edmundo Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Côme Concha in the 43rd minute of the match. Edmundo Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Iraido in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Côme Concha made a kick off. Edmundo Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Iraido in the 51st minute of play. Edmundo Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some careless play in the Real Racing Club defense, William Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Bala. The Real Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Bala should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute of the match, German Iraido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edmundo Mineiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edmundo Mineiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Odol in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Edmundo Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Côme Concha. The audience thought a goal was coming when Côme Concha got free with Edmundo Mineiro in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebio Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Edmundo Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Eusebio Odol made a precise shot to the right of Edmundo Mineiro. Irreal Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. The Irreal Madrid fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Racing Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
