Alfredo Xabel's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Luziense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Xabel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Galáctico Azul FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Xabel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Eulalio Vincent lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jairo Fonseca. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo de Sena in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Magdaleno came free, but Jairo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Galáctico Azul FC™'s Gaspar Magdaleno fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Luz in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Luziense defense, Eulalio Vincent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Fonseca. The Clube Atlético Luziense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Fonseca should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Edelmiro Derwin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Fonseca. That made the score 4-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match, Gaspar Magdaleno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jairo Fonseca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Fonseca was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luciano Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. Jairo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Michael in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Luziense defense, Gaspar Magdaleno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Fonseca. In the 64th minute, Délio Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Jose Tiso was substituted for Maximo Cutberto. Jairo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Vincent in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Generoso Michael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Fonseca. Clube Atlético Luziense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Michael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Clube Atlético Luziense's Jairo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Urbano. Alfredo Xabel got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 94th minute Generoso Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Galáctico Azul FC™ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
