The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Tscherner got free with Benedicto Ireno in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Colas Valdueza came free, but Faustino Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austin Reaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Ireno having to interfere. After 40 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Igor Montes. Benedicto Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Nardo in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carolo Nardo made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Mendonça. Austin Reaves hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Yin Wei Yi was substituted for Teodosio Montes. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen was substituted for Colas Valdueza. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Fernando Seber was substituted for Pablo Innocenzio. A hard and well directed shot from Albino Baladi led 59 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Spams's Faustino Jerold became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Fernando Seber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Jerold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Rolado. Faustino Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Spams were awarded a corner. Alfredo Mino went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Michel De Bruyne drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper. Faustino Jerold made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Márk Stephen sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Faustino Jerold. That made the score 2-2 after 90 minutes of play.
