The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6th play minutes Gerardo Lordi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ariel Mourelatos and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 12thth minute of the game Andreas Landgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Andreas Landgren made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo De Francesco hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Wang Hai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valerio Spadoni went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Lordi. In the 27th minute, Andréas Hasselqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. The goal made the score 3-1. After a rather tough play, Santa Margarita's Witomir Pisarczyk got a free kick in the 29th minute. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerio Spadoni in the 30th minute of play. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 32nd minute of the match. Gerardo Lordi scored 4-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Mourelatos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruperto Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pontus Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Alberto Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Lordi was the one to do the kick off. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute, Gerardo Lordi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Gerardo Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amboy FC made a substitution. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán replaced Ruperto Modestio. The throw-in from Igor Furtado in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Amboy FC's Nicanor Mendiko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Landgren in the 62nd minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pontus Nordström having to make a save. With a little luck, Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström got control of the ball when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Linus Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 69th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Mario Alberto Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Mauro Icardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Ariel Mourelatos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amboy FC's attentive Nicanor Mendiko managed to snatch the ball when Igor Furtado made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Celio to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Santa Margarita were the better team. Santa Margarita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
