The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Montes came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colas Valdueza in the 8th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Colas Valdueza came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colas Valdueza in the 14th minute of the match. Valerio Spadoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Benedicto Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Ruperto Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Modestio in the 22nd minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colas Valdueza in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Teodosio Montes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. Teodosio Montes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Sture Raknes fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amboy FC's protests and gave Sture Raknes a yellow card for diving instead. Sture Raknes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Abascal in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Mario Alberto Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruperto Modestio who took care of the corner kick. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerio Spadoni in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Colas Valdueza got free with Ariel Mourelatos in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerio Spadoni was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Valerio Spadoni took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Benedicto Ireno to make any attempt to save it. Benedicto Ireno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valerio Spadoni in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Colas Valdueza came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amboy FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cornelio Rius took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Mario Alberto Abascal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 76 minutes into the game, Eliézer Mendonça threw the ball into play from the sideline. Amboy FC's Nicanor Mendiko quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Stephen in the 84th minute of play. If Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Seber in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Amboy FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
