In the 11th minute of the match, Witomir Pisarczyk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luis Mejía saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Nisio in the 14th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julián Delfín didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Witomir Pisarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Witomir Pisarczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Mejía breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Luis Mejía proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Santa Margarita.
