Bin Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 37th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bin Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Severino Leme fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blumenau Esporte Clube's protests and gave Severino Leme a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Severino Leme hit a great ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Andy Cole who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fábio Leite. Luiz Fábio Leite yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After 67 minutes of play Blumenau Esporte Clube's Severino Leme was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Severino Leme hit a great ball. Floresta Negra FC made a substitution. Jardel Lewandowski replaced Andy Cole. After 69 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Severino Leme. Luiz Fábio Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Lewandowski went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Jardel Lewandowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fábio Leite came out and tried to block the shot, but Jardel Lewandowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Gernando Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lokon Pøhl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Blumenau Esporte Clube's zone, Jardel Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Leite came out of the goal and Jardel Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
