Maurinho Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Natanael de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Nascimento came free, but Caco Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Iwanowski came free, but Silas Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes Flamengo FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Murilo Prestes who took care of the corner kick. Murilo Prestes made a great header on SORRISO E. C.'s corner, it was just that Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro managed to reach the ball for a save. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Nascimento in the 32nd minute of play. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Filipe Nascimento notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo. Caco Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Nascimento made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Gui Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Rea, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Enrico Rea struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Caco Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo FSCMZ. Silas Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ryszard Iwanowski sent off a good shot on target. Filipe Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseu Marquez made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Filipe Nascimento immediately put the ball in play. Natanael de Medeiros hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's Filipe Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caco Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filipe Nascimento scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caco Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Nascimento in the 84th minute of the match. The corner ended in Gui Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo did a great save. After 88 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Loureiro. In the 90th minute, Carlinhos Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the SORRISO E. C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flamengo FSCMZ.
