The corner ended in Murilo Prestes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola did a great save. Murilo Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Loyola having to interfere. Hulk Zaracho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ramos having to interfere. SORRISO E. C.'s Bruninho Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gero Mitov, made in the 20th minute of the game. Carlos Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Sustrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Murilo Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time SORRISO E. C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Murilo Prestes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola did a great save. Carlos Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sustrai in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Dungan in the 36th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulk Zaracho's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gero Mitov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Hulk Zaracho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Ramos. SORRISO E. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hulk Zaracho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Cipriano Sustrai made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sustrai in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Zaracho in the 53rd minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Zaracho in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. From close distance Murilo Prestes pressed in the 2-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 78 minutes into the game. Carlos Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hulk Zaracho went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Gero Mitov in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SORRISO E. C.'s Carlinhos Alcântara. Humberto Perez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Claudinho Vergílio hit a great ball. Murilo Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after SORRISO E. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petter Bivall took the corner. In the 98th match minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio da Silva to maneuver through the defense. SORRISO E. C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ had controlled the match.
