In the 11th minute Filipe Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Filipe Nascimento got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Flamengo FSCMZ's Filipe Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Saldanha in the 44th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Chico Neto put in a rough tackle. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamengo FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
