A sloppy throw-in by João Francisco Mendonça in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Obregón Hondona. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Benny Stolpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Linhares in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikail Yerhum got free with Benny Stolpe in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Obregón Hondona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes Minuim SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Vale who took care of the corner kick. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Benny Stolpe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Basajaun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Martini was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Sandro Aguiar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandro Aguiar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 75th match minute, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Vale to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Angelo Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benny Stolpe was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Minuim SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team.
