Válbson Pimenta started the match with the kick off. Lauro Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersan Ergüleç in the 10th minute of the match. When Ersan Ergüleç came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Imbituba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ersan Ergüleç couldn't finish the play. Garopaba F.C's Lauro Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Bueno came free, but Sidney Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Sidney Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Imbituba - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 温浩康 to maneuver through the defense. Lauro Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Válbson Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauro Meirelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dedé Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sidney Motta made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dedé Correia sent off a good shot on target. Sidney Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Correia in the 43rd minute. Válbson Pimenta hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dedé Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Imbituba - FSCMZ! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Garopaba F.C. Dedé Correia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sidney Motta. 1-2. Válbson Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Lauro Meirelles made a huge save. Sidney Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute, Jorge Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Berenguer Anda was substituted for Válbson Pimenta. Nathaniel Burnett took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro Meirelles. Lauro Meirelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Berenguer Anda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Tomás Gajardo with Cauan dos Santos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lauro Meirelles came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett. But to his dismay, Nathaniel Burnett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Nathaniel Burnett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Nathaniel Burnett put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Lauro Meirelles. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
