Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Diguinho da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Hotz in the 18th minute of play. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's attentive Felipe Cabral managed to snatch the ball when Neil Peart made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Eustacio Hotz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Nogueira in the 31st minute of play forced Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Heidemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Breen John in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Otávio Niedermeier. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ramón Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Luiz Heidemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Neil Peart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Luiz Heidemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Diguinho da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Nildo Alcântara got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Dracena in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho da Mata saved Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting behind. Manoel Garrincha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diguinho da Mata having to make a save.
