Newpi Academy's Clemente Neron got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Neron. Newpi Academy's Ceferino Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Rivero in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Victoriano Burutzagi hit a great ball. Maximiliano Remir charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Clemente Neron succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Neron made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Flavio Rivero notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Newpi Academy's Ceferino Balasi. Ceferino Balasi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Neron struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Aaron Fe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newpi Academy. The Newpi Academy fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Newpi Academy's Clemente Neron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 70 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Rivero came free, but Ceferino Balasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Flavio Rivero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Balasi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 74 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Neron came free, but Aaron Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
