Leopoldo Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Tobias Berasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Reyes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Ekialde to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Erlantz in the 24th minute of the match. Isidoro Malvin struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ceferino Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reyes F.C.. Felix Sayvion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ceferino Balasi made a huge save. Ceferino Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Sayvion in the 38th minute of play. Felix Sayvion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ceferino Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Erlantz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Reyes F.C.'s Amado Dolcet got a free kick in the 51st minute. Eliseo Mundo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Leopoldo Erlantz sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Malvin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Reyes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Enzo Luke fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reyes F.C.'s protests and gave Enzo Luke a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Reyes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Luke. Eliseo Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Reynardo in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Gilberto Haritzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Sayvion in the 63rd minute of play. When Hilario Ekialde came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Reyes F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Ekialde couldn't finish the play. Reyes F.C. made a substitution. Cayetano Dorio replaced Isidoro Malvin. In the 68th minute, Jeremias Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Burutzagi made a great header on Newpi Academy's corner, it was just that Reyes F.C.'s Eliseo Mundo managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Reyes F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gilberto Haritzeder hit a great ball. Felix Sayvion struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ceferino Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reyes F.C.. Ceferino Balasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Dorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Dorio came free, but Ceferino Balasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Sayvion, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Newpi Academy defense, Cayetano Dorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Balasi. The Newpi Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Balasi should have stopped the shot. Reyes F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
