A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cássio Borges hit a great ball. Artur Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pablo Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvaldo Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. SORRISO E. C.'s Edvaldo Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Goiz in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Carlomagno kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Artur Branco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pablo Petrigai came out and tried to block the shot, but Artur Branco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. Pablo Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Branco in the 41st minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horacio Milian to strike the kick off in the second half. SORRISO E. C.'s Edvaldo Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save SORRISO E. C. from getting a goal against them. After 56 played minutes CAMBIAR NOMBRE got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Idacio. CAMBIAR NOMBRE's Armando Patrido was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edvaldo Leal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edvaldo Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Milian's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Horacio Milian hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. CAMBIAR NOMBRE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
