After some careless play in the DESTROY defense, Joaquim Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Enaut. The DESTROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Enaut should have stopped the shot. Vicente Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Queirós in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Faria came free, but Vicente Enaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Faria in the 11th minute of play forced DESTROY's goalkeeper Vicente Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Enaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Queirós's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s Júlio Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Enaut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the DESTROY defense, Júlio Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Enaut. The DESTROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Enaut should have stopped the shot. Vicente Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Faria in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Queirós in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Enaut saved DESTROY from getting behind. In the 25th minute of the match SORRISO E. C. got a corner. DESTROY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reinaldo Marquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. SORRISO E. C.'s Reinaldo Marquez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vicente Enaut in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 32nd match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Enaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Joaquim Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when DESTROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DESTROY's zone, Artur Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Enaut came out of the goal and Artur Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquim Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Enaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Queirós's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Joaquim Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DESTROY's Vicente Enaut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Artur Branco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DESTROY's Vicente Enaut did a great save. Joaquim Queirós had several of the DESTROY's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Vicente Enaut as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Queirós in the 82nd minute of play forced DESTROY's goalkeeper Vicente Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Madureira came free, but Vicente Enaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DESTROY's Vicente Enaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Queirós in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Joaquim Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Enaut, 0-11. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Joaquim Queirós hit a great ball. The supporters of DESTROY booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded SORRISO E. C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DESTROY.
