Leandro Formerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edvaldo Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Saturnino Leizarraga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.'s Edvaldo Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SORRISO E. C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Milian in the 33rd minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Edvaldo Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Patrido was slow to take the kick. During this time CAMBIAR NOMBRE's players had a chance to rest. Júlio Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Horacio Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAMBIAR NOMBRE's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frederico Amorim lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 70 minutes into the game, one of SORRISO E. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
