When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Ezkerra made a kick off. Efrain Sindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Amado Larra made a huge save. Amado Larra came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucuman's Amadeo Vincent. But to his dismay, Amadeo Vincent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Claudio Hondo scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Larra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeo Vincent hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Rafael Roldanillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Cordera, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tsubasa Ozora in the 81st minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Rafael Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Venceslao's late challenge caught a San Martin de Tucuman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
