Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Măliță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muget's Petru Sabău got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Iratze came free, but Traian Robu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Traian Robu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Beșliu in the 15th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Cătălin Crașovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petru Bunoaică's late challenge caught a Characate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petru Bunoaică helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Muget's Petru Bunoaică got a free kick in the 18th minute. Emil Loghin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Benjamin Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Beșliu in the 23rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Emil Crăcană hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Beșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Benjamin Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Crașovan in the 46th minute of play. The Characate FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Muget were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loco Palermo made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Cârlan during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 50 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Cârlan. Muget were furious when Ştefan Coman was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 53 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Coman. Traian Robu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Radu Măliță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Muget booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cătălin Crașovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Price having to interfere. If Nistor Beșliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Iratze to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rigoberto Ur hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Loco Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Palermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petru Sabău struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Benjamin Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muget. Mădălin Moromete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nistor Beșliu in the 86th minute. Cleto Gizon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Traian Robu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
