Nistor Beșliu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benjamin Price firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 10th minute, Nistor Beșliu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benjamin Price. The goal made the score 1-0. Benjamin Price made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Horea Bodnar sent off a good shot on target. Traian Robu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Horea Bodnar struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Benjamin Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muget. Horea Bodnar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Benjamin Price made a huge save. Fidel Igon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Benjamin Price was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ştefan Coman. The supporters of Muget booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loco Palermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horea Bodnar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Benjamin Price made a huge save. Benjamin Price made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Horea Bodnar sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loco Palermo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Palermo in the 51st minute of play forced Muget's goalkeeper Traian Robu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Bodnar charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horea Bodnar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Horea Bodnar made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Price. Characate FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 75 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Palermo came free, but Traian Robu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Muget fans cheered their team off the field, for while Characate FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
