André Toledos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Jim Åkesson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, Skepplanda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Paraense came free, but Jim Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Skepplanda BK's goalkeeper Jim Åkesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Toledo. Luiz Fernando Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Granberg's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Leonardo Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jim Åkesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Skepplanda BK's Ian Sillén seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ian Sillén the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Skepplanda BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ian Sillén had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Skepplanda BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Compostela FSCMZ:s goal. A collision led to Skepplanda BK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dennis Jelm hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Jim Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cesinha Paraense took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Åkesson. Jim Åkesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Compostela FSCMZ's Romário Borges was substituted for Bernardo Gonçalves. 63 minutes into the match, Cesinha Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Åkesson. Skepplanda BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesinha Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 68 minutes into the game, André Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Compostela FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skepplanda BK the free kick. A collision led to Compostela FSCMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. André Toledo hit a great ball. The supporters of Skepplanda BK booed when Compostela FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Compostela FSCMZ's Almir Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jim Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. André Toledo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Åkesson. Jim Åkesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Skepplanda BK's attentive Per Sellberg managed to snatch the ball when Ulisses Senna made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Ulisses Senna in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skepplanda BK's Per Sellberg. Evandro Bastos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Svensson in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute Conny Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skepplanda BK's Per Sellberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ulisses Senna, made in the 91st minute of the game. In the 94th minute, André Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compostela FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0.
