The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmond Walder kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bernt Artois managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Gullegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Artois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sylvain Pauwels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry De Vleeschauwere to maneuver through the defense. Julio Ferman charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Ferman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rosendo Rocio sped through SK Gullegem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Constantijn van Eycken. After 27 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Artois. When Edmond Walder fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Edmond Walder a yellow card for diving instead. Edmond Walder kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Quillian de Wolf. Sylvain Pauwels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Lia having to interfere. In the 35th minute, SK Gullegem's Bernt Artois ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Javier Lia. Javier Lia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 40th minute Ruperto Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn van Eycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantijn van Eycken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Rocio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylvain Pauwels kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Segundo Rufo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 51 minutes, Bernt Artois made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Javier Lia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Constantijn van Eycken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bernardo Chan hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, SK Gullegem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardo Chan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 62nd minute, Rosendo Rocio made a precise shot to the right of Constantijn van Eycken. SK Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Javier Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Artois in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Apolo Lore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantijn van Eycken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Bernardo Chan made a precise shot to the right of Constantijn van Eycken. SK Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 80th minute, Sylvain Pauwels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Gonzales in the 82nd minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Constantijn van Eycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Bernardo Chan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantijn van Eycken. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Chan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. 93 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Rocio came free, but Constantijn van Eycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Ruperto Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn van Eycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantijn van Eycken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Rocio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
