Justo Nel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Damaso Celino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Bernabel. Octavio Bernabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Damaso Celino made a huge save. Melchor Domiku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Justo Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Felipo took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Celino. Damaso Celino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 30 minutes into the game, Eulalio Ostadar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Expreso del oeste the free kick. Eulalio Ostadar kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Melchor Domiku's late challenge caught a Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Domiku helped the player get up and apologised. Melchor Domiku hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Octavio Bernabel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Damaso Celino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 36 minutes into the match, Melchor Domiku had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justo Nel. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Domiku was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Bernabel was the one to do the kick off. The Chiche y Anto en el Cielo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Nel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Clis got free with Justo Nel in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Expreso del oeste's Teofilo Lixandro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Nel. That made the score 1-7 after 68 minutes of play. 74 minutes into the game, Melchor Domiku recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justo Nel. Melchor Domiku showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. In the 77th minute, Inocencio Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Bernabel in the 78th minute of play forced Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Damaso Celino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Nel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Bautista in the 80th minute. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's Justo Nel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Chiche y Anto en el Cielo from getting a goal against them. The Chiche y Anto en el Cielo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Expreso del oeste were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
