Cosme Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Negrescu in the 4th minute of the match. Gabriel Vişoianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Cordeal in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionică Negrescu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Piorno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horacio Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Crăcană to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Apolo Marz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gabriel Vişoianu to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute, Filomeno Goren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's Ionică Negrescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Piorno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Marz got free with Gabriel Vişoianu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Victor Crăcană hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's David Suarez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gabriel Vişoianu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE reached it. Maximiliano Eron kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Maximiliano Eron took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Vişoianu. Gabriel Vişoianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 54thth minute of the game Apolo Marz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Gabriel Vişoianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Apolo Marz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Vişoianu. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Marz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Rigoberto Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Cordeal in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Vişoianu saved Academia Rio from getting behind. The supporters of TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE booed when Academia Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Oltean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Vişoianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Cordeal in the 75th minute of play. Nechifor Miclauș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionică Negrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Cosme Piorno made a huge save. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horia Berceanu was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Rio's players had a chance to rest. Nicu Burtea hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Victor Crăcană lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nechifor Miclauș hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Cordeal in the 90th minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gabriel Vişoianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia Rio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
