Arlo Cañadas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 姚傲瑜 during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 姚傲瑜 hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Nevada Baeza charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nevada Baeza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Morenilla AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nevada Baeza hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Morenilla AFC's Belarmo Aceves got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 楚冰霆 got free with Arlo Cañadas in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Morenilla AFC booed when 上海宝山蓝鲸联队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龚俊海 didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Morenilla AFC's Nevada Baeza in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Morenilla AFC's Arlo Cañadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 温誉军 in the 58th minute of play. 楚冰霆 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute 温誉军 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlo Cañadas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nevada Baeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 范挺宁 having to interfere. After some careless play in the 上海宝山蓝鲸联队 defense, Nevada Baeza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 范挺宁.
