In the 12th minute Fulgencio Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferhat Atabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Vidal was a little too slow when Songurbey Türkmen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ferhat Atabey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Fidele in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Tunuyán got a freekick which was hit by Mario Cidro. Burhanettin Haymanalı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Songurbey Türkmen in the 27th minute of play forced Tunuyán's goalkeeper Ovidio Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Cumhur Hüdayioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Okanay Utman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Ovidio Vidal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tunuyán's Ovidio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Songurbey Türkmen in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Songurbey Türkmen to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferhat Atabey made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mario Cidro sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ozan Hamurcuoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ovidio Vidal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Tunuyán booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atakan Uçma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Songurbey Türkmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Vidal having to interfere. Ovidio Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songurbey Türkmen in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Okanay Utman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okanay Utman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Songurbey Türkmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ovidio Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Cresencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ferhat Atabey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Galatasaray were furious when Çağan Geylan was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Çağan Geylan hit a great ball. Fulgencio Cresencio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferhat Atabey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Galatasaray's Okanay Utman got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Tunuyán's Santo Fidele ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferhat Atabey. Ferhat Atabey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Cidro got free with Ferhat Atabey in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Burhanettin Haymanalı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Galatasaray walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
