If Gogo Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crawford Korff in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fumasche's Alex Ciscato got control of the ball when Evaristo Brion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lisandro Ihintza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Eufemio's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Grupo Informatico's zone, Crawford Korff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ihintza came out of the goal and Crawford Korff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Ciscato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Grupo Informatico's Evaristo Brion in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Grupo Informatico's Lisandro Ihintza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Eufemio in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Ihintza saved Grupo Informatico from getting behind. The Fumasche fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Fumasche's Crawford Korff looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evaristo Brion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Alex Ciscato made a huge save. A collision led to Grupo Informatico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Evaristo Brion hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Fumasche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Björnsson to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Eufemio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Crawford Korff in the 51st minute of play forced Grupo Informatico's goalkeeper Lisandro Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Ihintza made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Marcelo Eufemio sent off a good shot on target. Fumasche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Crawford Korff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Crawford Korff came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Fumasche fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crawford Korff couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Eufemio in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lisandro Ihintza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Edgard Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fumasche's Crawford Korff in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner ended in Valentin Terciero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fumasche's Alex Ciscato did a great save. The supporters of Fumasche booed when Grupo Informatico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fumasche's Alex Ciscato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Brion in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fumasche walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
