SC Luzim were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after FK Dampsaga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vítor Bettencourt took the corner. SC Luzim's Vítor Bettencourt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bakezda Mann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, FK Dampsaga's Marius Kleven got a free kick in the 5th minute. Normando Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Bakezda Mann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Zarco's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Nicolas Neto made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gunnar Dyrstad sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Dyrstad in the 17th minute. Haluk Pamir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nicolas Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Salvador Poças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakezda Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Haluk Pamir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes SC Luzim got a freekick which was hit by António Lamego. After 37 played minutes, FK Dampsaga's Robert Sandberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Neto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Dampsaga reached it. FK Dampsaga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Sandberg in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Renato Ferrão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakezda Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haluk Pamir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nicolas Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomás Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, SC Luzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Normando Sanches to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 48th minute FK Dampsaga's Robert Sandberg took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Nicolas Neto and thus the score was 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Zarco to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SC Luzim's goal looked a bit too open when Haluk Pamir came free, but Nicolas Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Luzim's Nicolas Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Pablo Fretheim in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute Marius Kleven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haluk Pamir in the 68th minute of play. Nicolas Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Dyrstad's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. SC Luzim's Nicolas Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haluk Pamir in the 70th minute of play. With an all-out effort, SC Luzim's Bakezda Mann threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Salvador Poças, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gunnar Dyrstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicolas Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haluk Pamir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Bettencourt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Luzim fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! SC Luzim:s Nicolas Neto showed great skill when he stopped Robert Sandberg:s penalty. If Marius Kleven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Marius Kleven managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Dampsaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Kleven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Lucas Zarco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Renato Ferrão made a precise shot to the right of Bakezda Mann. FK Dampsaga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Leon Woldseth hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. After 100 played minutes António Lamego shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for FK Dampsaga's Bakezda Mann to catch but António Lamego was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The SC Luzim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Luzim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
