In the 11th minute of the match Klas Västlund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcolm Wall skillfully saved the ball. Pauliström's Malcolm Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Pauliström from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Pauliström defense, Sokratis Bekas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malcolm Wall. The Pauliström fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malcolm Wall should have stopped the shot. Folke Melin took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Lundström. Henry Lundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Malcolm Wall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sokratis Bekas's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match Deep mines of Moria got a corner. Pauliström's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Klas Västlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. 36 minutes into the match, Deep mines of Moria's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Melin came free, but Henry Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Deep mines of Moria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Domeradzki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sokratis Bekas in the 39th minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Deep mines of Moria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pauliström were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sokratis Bekas to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Johansson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Ingvar Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pauliström's protests and gave Ingvar Johansson a yellow card for diving instead.
