Gunnar Dyrstad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Babbis Kousis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FK Luku Tábor's zone, Marius Kleven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Babbis Kousis came out of the goal and Marius Kleven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Dyrstads short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Babbis Kousis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th match minute, FK Dampsaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Woldseth to maneuver through the defense. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 45 played minutes FK Dampsaga got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Dyrstad.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ctirad Večerka to make the kick off. Babbis Kousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Dyrstad in the 53rd minute of play. Haluk Pamir kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Babbis Kousis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Kleven in the 55th minute of the match. Babbis Kousis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. FK Luku Tábor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
