In the 24th minute Haluk Pamir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Mielak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitschullen SSA's Dobromir Mielak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Dyrstad in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Ignacy Kosiorek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mitschullen SSA's Dobromir Mielak got control of the ball when Gunnar Dyrstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bakezda Mann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dobromir Mielak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Dyrstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The FK Dampsaga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mitschullen SSA were winning 0-2.

In the 94th match minute, FK Dampsaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Preben Bjørkmo to maneuver through the defense. Mitschullen SSA's Robert Czaplicki was substituted for Denílson Santos. Preben Bjørkmo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Bernard Blochowiak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bakezda Mann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Mitschullen SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mitschullen SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
