Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jerry Lawler started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reuben Bunch to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Las Palmas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bruno Eneto hit a great ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Frankie Carnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Las Palmas's Efrain Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Séverin Dent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Efrain Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Federigo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Will McMahon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The corner ended in Emir Iğdırlı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Las Palmas's Efrain Veremundo did a great save. In the 33rd minute, Antonio Berbiz made a precise shot to the right of Will McMahon. Vancouver Reds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Amédée Gillis charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amédée Gillis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amédée Gillis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Marco Bidun made a precise shot to the right of Will McMahon. Vancouver Reds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 41 minutes into the game, Frankie Carnes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vancouver Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Palmas the free kick. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Frankie Carnes hit a great ball. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Nathan Descoteaux replaced Shelton Woodruff. In the 46th minute, Jerry Lawler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Las Palmas were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Berbiz made a kick off. Efrain Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apollinaire Gousse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Reuben Bunch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Las Palmas's Efrain Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Séverin Dent in the 66th minute of play. Marco Bidun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will McMahon having to interfere. Vancouver Reds's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Bruno Eneto scored to the left of an out of position Will McMahon, making the score, 1-3. Efrain Veremundo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Jerry Lawler. But to his dismay, Jerry Lawler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Efrain Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Lawler in the 81st minute of play. Jerry Lawler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Efrain Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Berbiz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will McMahon saved Vancouver Reds from getting behind. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Las Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apollinaire Gousse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Las Palmas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Las Palmas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
