An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Cutberto in the 3rd minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Raul Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Eustaquio Jaizki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PINGO PINGO's Raul Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Cutberto in the 12th minute of play. PINGO PINGO were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honorio Evarado took the corner. Rosendo Cutberto struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Raul Isias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. If Efrain Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Edgard Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Milian got free with Carlos Germano in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eustaquio Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes, PINGO PINGO's Honorio Evarado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Germano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PINGO PINGO reached it. A sloppy throw-in by Abel Iban in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PINGO PINGO's Gualterio Perrando. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Berdoi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Perrando to maneuver through the defense. PINGO PINGO's Gualterio Perrando quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abel Iban, made in the 54th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Atlanta's Raul Isias threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustaquio Jaizki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Efrain Milian hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Evarado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Germano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alvaro Micarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, PINGO PINGO's Efrain Milian made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Cutberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Micarelli in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Atlanta's Raul Isias threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Berdoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raul Isias was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Marcos Berdoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Berdoi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 91 minutes of play, PINGO PINGO's Efrain Milian made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Micarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PINGO PINGO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
