Fabio Monte started the match with the kick off. Santos Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlitos Bianchi in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Northern California's Fabio Monte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Sergio Heriberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Nunes. Sergio Heriberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, GuateFortín's Miguel Ángel Benito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Mino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 20 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Benito came free, but Santos Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Sotomayor to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín's Roberto Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Monte in the 25th minute of play. Roberto Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Monte in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Monte got free with Roberto Nunes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Juan José Ferrero. 34 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Heriberto came free, but Roberto Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Sergio Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Conrado Frans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Roberto Nunes was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Fabio Monte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabio Monte really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Roberto Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Ángel Benito was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Ángel Benito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Santos Mino made a huge save. Santos Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Benito, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Sergio Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GuateFortín. Northern California's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
