PINGO PINGO were furious when Anacleto Valente was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Las Palmas booed when PINGO PINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Joey in the 13th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Lucas Federigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Eneto in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Isias saved PINGO PINGO from getting behind. Manuel Galo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Milian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alvaro Micarelli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Las Palmas's Efrain Veremundo didn't even have to move. Efrain Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Milian came free, but Efrain Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Las Palmas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
