C.A.Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 25 de Noviembre FBC the free kick. Reynaldo Urre struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nalo Morcillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. When Eugenio Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the C.A.Independiente fans jumped to their feet.
