The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, 25 de Noviembre FBC's Socorro Soldevila got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, C.A.Independiente's Eugenio Pinto tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 6 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Jax. Generoso Sidro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of C.A.Independiente:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for 25 de Noviembre FBC. Desire Larrinzar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Bizen. 1-0. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when 25 de Noviembre FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Socorro Soldevila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nalo Morcillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Bizen made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Fernando Aguinaga sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, 25 de Noviembre FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Pinto came free, but Nalo Morcillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of 25 de Noviembre FBC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.Independiente:s goal. The referee gave C.A.Independiente a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugenio Pinto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of 25 de Noviembre FBC's Nalo Morcillo. 1-1. 25 de Noviembre FBC's Hustaz Bonal suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 27 minutes into the game, Elias Petrigai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 25 de Noviembre FBC the free kick. The supporters of 25 de Noviembre FBC booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 de Noviembre FBC made a substitution. Raimundo Lanzon replaced Hustaz Bonal. After 40 minutes of play, C.A.Independiente's Eugenio Pinto made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nalo Morcillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Bizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Aguinaga in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fernando Aguinaga made the kick off in the second half. If Desire Larrinzar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Socorro Soldevila kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Fernando Aguinaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Independiente's Felipe Bizen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when 25 de Noviembre FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 83rd minute Desire Larrinzar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Bizen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A.Independiente's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
