An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaouki Ben Rau in the 17th minute of play forced Internet XAire's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Internet XAire's Filiberto Paz pulled a muscle in his leg after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Witalis Sitko's late challenge caught a Internet XAire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 23 minutes, Chaouki Ben Rau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaouki Ben Rau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Internet XAire had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
