The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dariusz Soszka was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arturo Cordeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Baltasar Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Soszka having to interfere. Wiktor Hendzel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Ildefonso Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Yelonki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Rozanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Arturo Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dariusz Soszka was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 33 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Dantae. Dariusz Soszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Howling Dawn U18 were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Yelonki's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erasmo Oskarbi took the corner. Leon Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Laskowski in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Juan Bittor made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Walme in the 52nd minute of play forced Yelonki's goalkeeper Dariusz Soszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yelonki's Arkadiusz Rozanski got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Arkadiusz Rozanski off the ground. Howling Dawn U18's Erasmo Oskarbi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yelonki's Dariusz Soszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Bittor in the 61st minute of play. Leon Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Bobrowski in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dariusz Soszka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Yelonki made a substitution. Klement Brzonkala replaced Kajetan Fabiszak. If Klement Brzonkala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Venancio Dantae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Soszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Howling Dawn U18's Arturo Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dariusz Soszka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Howling Dawn U18's Zeledon Dino was substituted for Juan Bittor. 84 minutes into the match, Yelonki's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Dino came free, but Dariusz Soszka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yelonki's Alfred Jajko got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dobromir Dziewedik hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Zeledon Dino notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Yelonki's Dariusz Soszka. Dariusz Soszka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Howling Dawn U18's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
