Thanks to some nice moves Ciriaco Karmel could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Tomás Calixto however easily saved by the left post. In the 7th minute, Jonathan Beltran made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Demesio. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Jonathan Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Road To Glory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Beltran couldn't finish the play. The Road To Glory fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Road To Glory's Jonathan Beltran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miguel Demesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Abelardo Ospin got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Jonathan Beltran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Demesio having to interfere. Miguel Demesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Beltran in the 35th minute of play. If Flavio Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Suarez to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Godofredo Iturri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Calixto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Quexal in the 63rd minute of play. Abelardo Ospin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Flavio Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Miguel Demesio made a huge save. In the 67th match minute, Tacheros de Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Gartxot to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Road To Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Beltran to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Ireno in the 71st minute of play forced Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Miguel Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Lucas Valiente seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucas Valiente the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tacheros de Buenos Aires protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucas Valiente had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Tacheros de Buenos Aires:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Road To Glory:s goal. Tomás Calixto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Karmel in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Amadeo Gartxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Ireno got free with Miguel Demesio in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Flavio Suarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Demesio. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Suarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Road To Glory played a much better game than Tacheros de Buenos Aires and deserved their victory. The Tacheros de Buenos Aires players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
