Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelo Quijada started the match with the kick off. Venancio Dantae hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Arturo Pinho came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Juan Bittor. But to his dismay, Juan Bittor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leon Roldan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Viscarra in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Marcelo Quijada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GuateFortín and the Howling Dawn U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Quijada. Venancio Dantae hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Danilo Viscarra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leon Roldan, 1-1. Arturo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Walme in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efren Viscarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Bittor in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carmelo Sandoval fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GuateFortín's protests and gave Carmelo Sandoval a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Sandoval to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Viscarra came free, but Leon Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Bittor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the GuateFortín defense, Arturo Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Pinho. The GuateFortín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Pinho should have stopped the shot. In the 60th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Henriquez to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín's David Melendez was substituted for Jorge Valenzuela. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Franklin Henriquez got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Walme in the 63rd minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Arturo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Walme came free, but Arturo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Walme in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Juan Bittor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arturo Pinho, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Bittor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Pinho. That made the score 2-4 in the 87 minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 90th minute, but Arturo Pinho got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving GuateFortín hanging dry this time. The GuateFortín fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Howling Dawn U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
