Samuel Cordarell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo Pinho. GuateFortín's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Ricardo Mora got a free kick in the 17th minute. GuateFortín's Arturo Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Bernat in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Marcelo Quijada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eustaquio Lekubegi. Marcelo Quijada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Eustaquio Lekubegi was a little too slow when Danilo Viscarra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Marcelo Quijada took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Eustaquio Lekubegi to make any attempt to save it. Elias Talia kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Elias Talia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 37th minute of the match Elias Talia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elias Talia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Marcelo Quijada made the kick off in the second half. Eustaquio Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Quijada in the 57th minute of the match.
