In the 8th match minute, Velez Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Seme to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Erasmo Oskarbi from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Uriel Raymon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittor in the 11th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Seme was shown his second yellow card after 12 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Raymon was a little too slow when Juan Bittor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Genaro Argina's late challenge caught a Howling Dawn U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Argina helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Genaro Argina got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Venancio Dantae shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uriel Raymon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Uriel Raymon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute Jesus Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Bittor came free, but Uriel Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uriel Raymon. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. After 42 played minutes Velez Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Napier. 44 minutes into the game, Baltasar Walme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Uriel Raymon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 95th minute Baltasar Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Raymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Howling Dawn U18 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Velez Sarsfield for a fine match.
