An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Zellier in the 15th minute of play forced Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper Julián Valla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Loi in the 18th minute of play. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Marcos Loi. But to his dismay, Marcos Loi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julián Valla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Rexino in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Alvaro Rexino notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Bertil Lindsten seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bertil Lindsten the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aerolineas Argentinas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bertil Lindsten had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Wilmer Barrios was substituted for Iker Segio. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Aerolineas Argentinas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GuateFortín:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Angel Alvarenga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julián Valla. That made the score 2-2 in the 33 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Zellier came free, but Julián Valla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Rexino hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
